The cover story of the current issue of the New York Times magazine is about boys and DMAB children who fall outside typical masculine gender presentation and behavior. It discusses the existence of nonbinary people, the difference between being transgender and being nonbinary/genderfluid/gender non-conforming, the issue of privilege in regard to masculine DFAB people vs. feminine DMAB people, and suggests that parents let their children express themselves however they feel most comfortable, rather than forcing them into traditional gender roles. 
I’m really excited that such a mainstream media source was able to not only put together so much good information, but feature it prominently on the front cover of their magazine and website. I almost teared up several times while reading it.
